Hot Chocolates
Awesome Hot Chocolates. Deep, balanced taste. I use 2 to 5 spoonfuls with hot milk made in a Mr Coffee "Cocomotion", which heats and stirs perfectly. You can use a whisk, rolled between your hands to make a froth. It's good to use a whisk because you are breaking down actual mini-chocolate chunks.

Here's one way to feel good about winter... One pound of totally awesome cocoa! Belgian cocoa is made without Alkali, so there is none of that "throat coat" that is associated with drinking chocolate. What you get is a smooth chocolat-ey finish. Use 3-5 spoonfuls per mug. The bag makes about 20 cups(?). |

This is the dark chocolate lover's hot chocolate. The chocolate smells rich and bitter and sour. Made from Criollo cocoa beans farmed in one location in Tanzania... these beans are supreme. This hot chocolate offers many layers of flavor. |

A smooth, rich dark hot chocolate. The cocoa beans are special - Criollo beans from one location in Santo Domingo, and the flavor just erupts when you sip it. This is my favorite, and sometimes I mix a little of the Belgian cocoa in with it. Makes a great gift for the dark chocolate lover, and is safe to give, where as the Tanzanian may be too dark for many people. |

This chocolate is new this year. Just when you think you've tasted good milk chocolate, along comes something like this. Ghana is a spiritual place with a large cocoa crop. They take some awesome beans, make milk chocolate from them, ship it to me so I can grind it and make a hot chocolate mix. Add a few spoonfuls to hot milk and enjoy a very creamy, satisfying cup of milk chocolate intensity. |

Belgian cocoa with Italian espresso powder. Very strong flavor, because the chocolate is fabulous and the coffee flavor is rich - this makes a great, easy way to get the coffee-chocolate taste fix. Awesome in the morning, careful with this at night, it contains plenty of caffeine. |

Belgian Cocoa with organic European mint. If you like the mint-chocolate combination, this is a very delicious cup of cocoa. The European mint is different than we Americans are used to. It is more subtle at the start, so the chocolate flavor comes thru, then the mint flavor grows to a nice sensation. Very, very nice. I don't drink it all the time, but I sure like it once in a while! |

Are you a white chocolate lover? Know someone who is? This hot chocolate is bound to please the most discriminating white chocolate lover. It is Belgian chocolate, no alkali, with a little bit of organic Chinese Cassia, the original cinnamon tree. This makes a very civilized cup of hot chocolate, I like it in the afternoon during a winter storm. |
