Some examples of recent chocolate parties held at our store
- Instructional party: A group of 8 were taught to make Chocolate Mousse while learning about the principles of chocolate, tasting different chocolates and pairing the chocolates with wines. The Party also learned how to separate eggs, combine chocolate and the principles of cooking with chocolate. Trays full of chocolates and desserts were available on an "all you can eat" basis. The members of the chocolate party brought their own wines to taste with and and some special Russian Vodka that we made Chocolate Martinis with. Total time for the event was just under 3 hours, cost per person was $25.00.
- Teen Birthday Party: Small group of teens gathered with a few adults, tables spread, chocolates set out, special desserts were made for the event. Desserts, chocolates and sauces were made abundant, so people could make their own concoctions using desserts, ice cream, fresh fruit sauces and caramel. The point was to make chocolate overly-available so that teen girls could do what they like... talk, make a mess, laugh and have a good time, knowing every wish could be filled and someone else would clean up afterwards! Scheduled after hours on a Saturday, cost was $240.
- Little Ones' Chocolate Course: Ten children ranging from 3yrs to 13yrs were welcomed in to the kitchen, shown how chocolate is made, tasted milk & dark chocolates, and made chocolate lollipops to take home with them. This makes a giant mess and is often pandemonious, but the result is 10 kids had a blast, were validated in the kitchen, learned about chocolate and had some to bring home. Luckily a few Moms stuck around to help with kid needs. Total time was 3 hours, scheduled on a Saturday morning, and cost per child was $22.
